Election information

election information This year, information about candidates and issues appearing in the fall elections is available from several sources.
   Through the Secretary of State's World Wide Web site on the Internet, and on the Washington Information Network's electronic "touch-screen" kiosks (one is located at the Bothell Library), citizens can access information about statewide candidates, location of legislative districts, and other election-related information and assistance.
   The Secretary of State's website is located at http://www.wa.gov/sec/sechome.htm.
   Also available is the video voters' guide, which features videotaped statements from candidates. It will be televised on TVW and distributed on videocassettes to public libraries and local access channels around the state.
   The printed "Washington State Voters' Pamphlet" will be distributed in mid-October. The election hotline number is 1-800-448-4881.
