Math and reading workshops set

workshops Five free math and reading workshops will be offered at various Eastside locations in September to families with children in first through third grades. These workshops are useful for families with children in who need extra help and for those who are looking for enrichment ideas.
   Family Math workshops will provide parents with ideas on how to help their children with their math and problem-solving skills with interesting games and activities.
   In the Learning 7 Ways workshops, parents will learn about different ways we learn and how to use their child's special interests and talents to make learning more enjoyable and effective. They will have an opportunity to practice different games and activities and will take home a packet of very useful information.
   Learning 7 Ways workshops will be held Wed., Sept. 11 at the Bothell Library; Mon., Sept. 16 at the Carnation Multi-Service Center; and Wed., Sept. 18, at Opstad Elementary School in North Bend.
   Family math workshops will be held at the Issaquah Library, Wednesday, Sept. 11, and at the Woodinville Library on Thursday, Sept. 26. All workshops will be held from 6:30-8 pm.
