Ice cream social
Kokanee Elementary School is sponsoring an Ice Cream Social Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the gym, located at 23710 57th Ave SE in Woodinville. Ice cream sundaes will be 50 cents. The public is welcome. Call 489-6060 for details.
Attention: Parents of WHS seniors
There will be a meeting in the Woodinville High School library on Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. for those interested in helping plan the all-night party following graduation on June 13, 1997. Many parents are needed to help plan a successful event, so don't miss out on this opportunity to be involved.
Teacher takes part in research program
Erica Wolf, a science and mathematics teacher from Chrysalis High School in Woodinville, took part this summer in a hands-on research project at the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland. Wolf teamed with scientists in the testing of piezoelectric chemical sensors. The project was part of the Teacher Research Associates (TRAC) Program. It is funded by the Dept. of Energy.
LFP Community School
Registration classes at Lake Forest Park Community School will be held at the school Sept. 25 fom 7-8 p.m., Sept. 26 from 2:30-4 p.m., and at the upper level of the shopping mall Sept. 28 from 1-2:30 p.m. Flyers will be available at libraries, schools, and businesses Sept. 14.
