Kiwanis Club of Northshore president Larry Smith (left) and Si Siverson prepare for the annual Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner.
The Northshore Kiwanis Club will cook up its 30th annual Spaghetti Dinner Sept. 27 at Anderson School Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE.
For three decades, the Kiwanians have been mixing their famous spaghetti sauce and serving it up to Northshore residents at the neighborhood event.
Proceeds support Kiwanis youth activities and scholarships. The buffet event always precedes the crosstown football game featuring the Bothell Cougars and Inglemoor Vikings at Pop Keeney Field. After a dinner of spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert, football fans can troop across the lawn to cheer their team at the "Spaghetti Bowl."
Serving starts at 4:30 p.m. and continues till 7 p.m. Dinner is $5; $4/senior citizens; and $15/families.
