Woodinville needs Park Commissioners
The Woodinville City Council will appoint five commissioners for a volunteer advisory group to assist in making parks and recreation decisions.
Interested residents must complete a short community service application and live within the Woodinville city limits. No previous employment or experience is required.
Commissioners will provide recommendations to the City Council regarding the acquisition, improvement, and best use of open space, city parks, playgrounds, recreation programs, and facilities.
Development of new neighborhood parks as well as the construction of the Wilmot Gateway Park and Woodinville Valley Trail are among the issues to be addressed.
Applications, due by Oct. 18, can be picked up at Woodinville City Hall, 13203 NE 175th Street. Call Lane Youngblood at 489-2700 with questions.
