School boundary committee begins work
The committee charged with recommending the boundaries for the Northshore School District's newest junior high will hold its first meeting Sept. 26, 6:30-9:30 p.m., in Room 22 of the Ricketts Building, 18315 Bothell Way NE in Bothell.
The committee is comprised of 25 Northshore parents, who represent the majority of the school district's service area, plus six junior high principals and other school district staff.
Community members are invited to attend the meetings, listen to the discussion, and comment during designated times. Schedules listing dates, times, and locations, plus a general focus for each session are available after Sept. 23 at Northshore schools or Ricketts.
The new junior high, located east of Paradise Lake at 19115 215th Way NE, Woodinville, will open in the fall of 1997.
