With the help of friends, families, and supporters, the Woodinville Adult Day Center celebrated its second anniversary Sept. 18 with a luncheon and entertainment at the center.
The Advisory Board of Northshore Senior Center served a salad lunch to the 60 guests. The men from the Northshore Senior Center Songsters entertained the group.
Linda Woodall from the Alzheimer's Association was a special guest at the luncheon, as were many City of Woodinville representatives.
Karen Martyn, director of the center, lists community support and the increase in the number of people they are able to serve as the greatest accomplishments over the past two years.
"We couldn't do any of this without help from the community of Woodinville," she said. "With that support, we are now serving 20 people a day."
