No bears wander through Bear Creek today, but fish do. The creek produces the greatest number of sockeye salmon in the Sammamish basin.

People want to use all of Cottage Lake Park
After years of fiddling and fuming, the Army Corps of Engineers finally has a plan from the King County Parks Department on the future usage of Cottage Lake Park.
Maximum public access to public lakefronts
For the record, and before my critics commence their "aha's," I do not advocate domestic pets in public parks, especially waterfront parks.
