Maximum public access to public lakefronts
For the record, and before my critics commence their "aha's," I do not advocate domestic pets in public parks, especially waterfront parks.
I do advocate maximum public access to public lakefronts, especially at Cottage Lake, which has served people for years.
And why, per one of the stated mitigation goals, does the parks department want to "create waterfowl habitat?" It's the waterfowl that causes swimmers' itch--why encourage them?
