County residents show commitment to recycling
The King County Solid Waste Division wishes to thank the residents of Bothell and the north portion of King County for their participation in the Special Recycling Event which was held at Bothell High School on Sept. 21.
During this Special Recycling Event, 612 residents brought more than 147 tons of recyclable materials, which included: 59 refrigerators, 900 used tires, 26 tons of scrap metal, and 87 tons of concrete, rock, asphalt, and brick.
We appreciate the commitment that King County residents have made to recycling. Their participation in curbside recycling programs and their attendance at these Special Recycling Events demonstrates this commitment.
We look forward to serving area residents again at the Spring 1997 event.
