   The Presbyterian Counseling Service of North Puget Sound, a Samaritan Counseling Center, announces its Fourth Annual Dinner and Auction on October 26, at the Everett Yacht Club. This center offers emotional healing, hope, and new life perspective to individuals, couples, youth, and families living in our complex society. Proceeds assist those that cannot afford needed care. Last year, $75,981 was required, a 12% increase over 1994.
   The evening's schedule, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., will include silent and live auctions, appetizers, and a buffet dinner. The menu features prime rib and chicken.    Called to Ministry is the title of the Bishop's Convocation on Ministry for Youth and Young Adults. This annual event will be held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Bellevue, October 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Pacific Northwest Annual Converence of the United Methodist Church.    The Puget Sound Chapter of the Lutheran Women's Caucus will meet Oct. 19 at 11:45 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church in Seattle. The topic will be "Why Christian Women Need To Know About Ballot Measures." Bring your own cup or mug for beverages. Both lunch and speech are open to the public.

   Rabbi Michael Cohen of the Seattle Kollel will be giving a three-week series of lectures in Kirkland beginning Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. at the home of Ken and Lynda Wegodsky. The lectures will focus on exploring the language of Hebrew, Judaic laws, and what Judaism has to say about the differences between men and women.
