The Eastside Domestic Violence program provides thousands of victims and their children with a safe haven, and provides advocacy and education on domestic violence.
After gathering pledges, five City of Woodinville staff members raised more than $500 for the program by participating in the annual Bowl-a-Thon.
"The city is really excited to be participating," said City Planner Stephanie Cleveland. "The Eastside Domestic Violence Program provides a critical service to our community and we are proud to help support it. In addition to the regular funding the city provides to the program, we plan to make this an annual event."
Joining Cleveland were Community Services Coordinator Marie Stake, Customer Service Coordinator Dawn Hunley, and Administrative Assistants Brenda Eriksen and Rachelle Powell.
