Stephanie Monohan won her age division in the Miss Seattle Pageant.
Former Woodinville resident Stephanie Monohan, competing in the 6-to-8-year-old division of the Miss Seattle Pageant Aug. 18 in Tacoma, was crowned "Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Seattle 1996" and also placed as "Miss Photogenic Runner-Up."
The competition was based on a personal interview before the judging panel, public speaking, and modeling.
Stephanie was awarded a modeling scholarship with Future Stars Modeling/Talent Agency and an all-expense-paid trip to Las Vegas to compete in the "Miss North America Pageant" Jan. 14-18, 1997, at the Circus-Circus. Contestants will include pageant winners from all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Stephanie is a student at Evergreen Academy in Bothell.
