Everyday Gourmet classes at Larry's

Everyday Gourmet Larry's Market's Everyday Gourmet School of Cooking has announced its fall classes.
   Cooking With Your Coat On, with chef Hope Sandler, will be held Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The emphasis will be on quick and healthy cooking. Featured recipes will include seashell soup, Southwest hominy stew, tofu curry, and basmati with raisins. Cost is $32.
   Cater Your Own Party (a 3-part series) will be offered Oct. 18 and 25 and Nov. 1 at 10:30 a.m. Learn professional tips on rentals, staff, entertainment, portion control, menu planning, and decorating. Three separate menus. Cost is $100.
   Guest author Kathleen Stang will teach All About Apples Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Taste a variety of apples and watch the preparation of a full menu featuring rolled stuffed pork roast. Cost is $35.
