Canyon Creek Club has 336 apartments

   The project which has changed hands three times and taken more than eight years to start work: The Canyon Creek Club will feature 336 apartments, down from the original 376 units.

County 'on the air'

   King County officially went "on the air" as of Oct. 7, initiating programming on its new government access cable channel called King County Civic Television (C-TV). Government meetings and events will be broadcasted as well as programs that help explain county policies and educate citizens. In addition, programming on the arts will be highlighted on Friday nights 7-9 p.m. King County Civic Television can be seen on channel 55 in the Bothell and Woodinville areas and on channel 59 in Seattle, Mercer Island, Newcastle, and the Issaquah Plateau. Plans call for it to be offered in Kirkland and the Novelty Hill, Avondale, and Cottage Lake areas by the first of the year. Call 296-0343 for more info.

Park Board members needed

   Members are still needed for Woodinviulle's first Parks and Recreation Board. Applications will be accepted through Oct. 18 and can be picked up at City Hall or mailed out by calling 489-2700.
