Catch the WHS spirit!
The Woodinville High School Cheerleaders invite the community to share in a Spaghetti Supper and Silent Auction prior to the Homecoming Football Game on Oct. 25. The supper will be from 5-7 p.m. with auction items available to bid on throughout the event. The location is Anderson School, next to Pop Keeney Stadium. Cost is $5 per person; ages 5 and under free. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Call Carmela at 487-0752 or Debbie at 881-6055.
Kokanee Kodiaks to read and run
The Kokanee PTA Read-a-thon/Run-a-thon will be held Oct. 14-25 at Kokanee Elementary in Woodinville. The event will raise money for gym blackout drapes and other needed supplies and programs at the school. Children will gather pledges for reading and running and then chart their reading for a week. They will also participate in the Big Kokanee Run Oct. 25 to earn their pledges.
Woodinville FBLA begins new year
Woodinville High School students are invited to join FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), offering members an opportunity to get a head start on the business world. Members are encouraged to pay their $10 dues and sign up for the Oct. 23 Fall Conference ($8).
New FBLA officers are: president, Jennie Chong; vice president, Jolie Richards; secretary, Jake Willson; treasurer, Garrett Van Vector; reporters, Courtney Buck and Kassie Katyryniuk; historians, Heather Miller and Jessie Pollock.

Northshore SEPAC meeting set
The Northshore Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) is holding a general meeting Oct. 23 from 7:30-9 p.m. in the Ricketts Auditorium to present information on learning disabilities. The public is invited. Childcare is available. Pre-register by Oct. 21 by calling 489-6311.
