Money managing training available
Opportunities for individuals interested in volunteering in the WSU Cooperative Extension's money management education and information program for King County's limited resource families are available. Volunteers will receive 20 hours of training in money management and consumer education for a minimum of 40 hours in volunteer time. Training sessions are scheduled for Oct. 24 and 31, and Nov. 7, 14, and 21. Call 296-3900 to receive a job description and application.
The Redmond/Woodinville PROBUS Club, a social organization for retired professional and business men and women, will feature George Ray from KCTS-TV Channel 9 in a presentation on the role Public Television plays in society at their Oct. 22 meeting, 10-11:30 a.m., in the Redmond Senior Center.
