Candidate forum to take place at Woodinville Library

   A 45th District Candidate forum will be held Oct. 29 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Woodinville Library. Position 1 candidates Trina Good and Rep. Kathy Lambert and Position 2 candidates Rep. Bill Backlund and Dave Asher will be present to discuss their views on important issues. County Council to hold budget hearing

   The Metropolitan King County Council's Budget and Fiscal Managememt committee will hold a public hearing on the executive proposed budget Oct. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bellevue Community College in the upper campus meeting facility, room J123. Call 296-1007 for more information.

Presbyterian Counseling Service Annual Dinner and Auction

   The Presbyterian Counseling Service of North Puget Sound, a Samaritan Counseling Center, announces its Fourth Annual Dinner and Auction on October 26, at the Everett Yacht Club. This center offers emotional healing, hope, and new life perspective to individuals, couples, youth, and families living in our complex society. Proceeds assist those that cannot afford needed care. Last year, $75,981 was required, a 12% increase over 1994.
   The evening's schedule, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., will include silent and live auctions, appetizers, and a buffet dinner. The menu features prime rib and chicken. Country Christmas craft fair set

   The 15th annual Woodinville Country Christmas Craft Fair, sponsored by the Northshore School District's Special Education Parent's Advisory Council (SEPAC), will be held Nov. 2, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at Woodmoor Elementary. Featured will be handcrafted items from more than 60 local artists.
   The event is a fundraiser for the special education students in the Northshore School District, with proceeds going toward summer school scholarships, resource library materials, speakers for parent presentations on special education issues, community access field trips, and other special education needs. An admission donation of $2 is requested for those 12 years and older. Call 489-6320.

Holiday Boutique at Monte Villa

   The Monte Villa Farm House, next to the Quadrant in Bothell, will host a Holiday Boutique Oct. 24, 1-7 p.m., Oct. 25, 10-7 p.m., and Oct. 26, 10-4 p.m. Admission is free, and the first 50 people each day receive a free gift.

Holiday bazaar at Green Acres Park

   Green Acres Park will host its annual Holiday Bazaar Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured will be handcrafted gifts, homemade baked goods, grab bags, raffles, and lunch. Proceeds will benefit the Bothell Fire Dept. Aid Car, Evergreen Medic One, and Evergreen Hospice. The Park is located at 23825 15th Ave. SE in Bothell.

Bothell Historical Society holds annual meeting

   The Bothell Historical Museum Society will hold its annual membership meeting on Oct. 28, 9:30 a.m. at the Museum in the Park at Bothell Landing, 180th Street, Bothell. All current and new members are welcome. A potluck lunch will folow the business meeting. For more information, call 488-8408.
