   Halloween activities at the libraries are listed on the Front Page.

   The Friends of the Library of Kirkland will hold their annual book sale Nov. 2 beginning at 10:30 a.m. (for the general public; F.O.L.K. members may enter at 9:30 a.m.). Bargain hour is from 3-4 p.m. Call 889-9212.

Woodinville Library (788-0733)

   Storytimes with songs and crafts for ages 2-3 with adult are set for Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. through Dec. 18.
   A fun-filled half hour of stories, music, and crafts for ages 3 to 8 will be held on Mondays through Dec. 16 and Tuesdays through Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Parents welcome.

   Stories for ages 2 to 2-1/2 on Tuesday through Nov. 26 at 9:45 a.m.

Kenmore Library (286-8747)

   Karen Haas, storyteller and musician, will share tales and songs about giving Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. For ages 5+ or under with adult.
   Toddler Storytimes for children 2-3 with an adult will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
   Preschool Storytime for ages 3+ are set for Wed. at 11 a.m. Register.

Kingsgate Library (821-7686)

   Learn about clothing, color, hairstyles, and body language in a free personal image seminar for men, women, and teens, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. Register.
   A Babysitter's Workshop, a free four-part class for teens 11+, will be held Nov. 6, 13, 20, 27, from 4-6 p.m. Registration begins Oct. 30.
   Fall storytimes, through Dec. 13: ages 3 1/2-6 Tuesday at 1 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m.; and Thursday at 6:45 p.m; for ages 2-3 1/2 with an adult, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30 a.m.; ages 12-24 months with an adult, third Thursday at 10:40 a.m.
   Mother Goose on the Loose: storytime for adults and their young children, 12-24 months, third Thursday of month at 11 a.m. No registration required.

Lake Forest Park Library (362-8860)

   Finding Money for College is a one-hour workshop for students and parents Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. Register.
   Stories, songs, and puppets during Toddler Storytime for ages 24-36 months with an adult, Tuesday through Dec. 10 at 11 a.m.

Redmond Library (885-1861)

   Join Judy Rainwater to learn how to make bread using a bread machine Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. For adults. Register.
   Toddler Reading Time, for ages 2 and 3 with an adult, are set for Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and Mondays at 1 p..m.
   Stories for the Afternoon will feature stories, songs, and special activities for ages 4-8 Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.

Duvall Library (788-1173)

   Songs, stories, puppets, and games for ages 3+ are set for Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Register.

Fall City Library (222-5951)

   Ages 5+ can go on a free Insect Safari Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
