Bothell Landmarks Board has vacancy
Interested citizens are invited to apply to fill a partial term vacancy on the Bothell Landmark Preservation Board due to the resignation of boardmember Connie Rocker. The term will begin upon appointment and expire July 15, 1998. Applicants may reside within either the Bothell city limits or the Bothell Planning Area.
The Landmark Preservation Board identifies and actively encourages the conservation of the city's historic resources by initiating and maintaining a register of historic landmarks and reviewing proposed changes to properties on the register. They are also charged with raising community awareness of the city's history and historic resources.
Interested individuals may submit applications to the City Clerk by 5 p.m. on Nov. 7, 1996. Interviews before the City Council and appointment are scheduled for Nov. 18. Call 486-3256 for details.
