The wacky world of fish habitat restoration
Let's all share the (expensive) joy of this wacky world of fish and wetlands habitat restoration.
In this time of inadequate funding of higher education needs, let's celebrate the estimated $5 million expenditure for re-wilding and rebuilding the creek/wetlands on the site of the coming University of Washington Bothell branch. (It's required mitigation for getting to build.)
Instead of using that five million dollars for educational needs, we'll be spending it instead to create fish habitat in the midst of a major freeway interchange where auto exhaust pollutants will rain down among the lucky fish.
Until next time.
