   Enjoy an afternoon with tea and goodies, fashions, prizes, fun, and entertainment Nov. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $3.

   Attend a free presentation about suicide, the basic facts and the warning signs, Nov. 7 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

   Would you like to quit smoking? Dr. Greg Schimel will present on overview of the reasons for smoking and why it is so difficult to quit, Nov. 12 from 12:45-2 p.m.

   Attend a free 3-week series with an overview of late life depression and design an individualized plan to help manage depression Nov. 8-22 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Register in advance.

   Learn how to move through the grief process and grow with the support of others Nov. 6 from 10-11:30 a.m. Drop-ins welcome.

   Make a beaded coil bracelet Nov. 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Cost: $8 for members and $13 for non-members.

   A free presentation addressing real estate issues, home values and lending, loans, and reverse mortgage facts is planned for Nov. 7 and 14 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

   Join an exercise program to improve balance, flexibility, strength, and aerobic training Mon., Wed., and Fri. from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. or from 10:40 to 11:30 a.m. New session begins Nov. 18.

   Learn the skills and techniques of acting on stage in classes on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.

   Enjoy an afternoon of ballroom dancing to live music every Wed. from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $2.

   Early Stage Memory Loss Group, first and third Tues., 8:30-10:30 a.m. Information and resources provided.

   Acrylic Painting, Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-12 noon. Attend an acrylic painting class and learn the principles of design and elements of art. Cost, $30 members/$35 non-members. Beginners welcome.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.

   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
