Family wilderness experiences offered in Duvall

   Wilderness Awareness School will present "Seeing Through the Eyes of the Elders, Field Ecology and Native Teachings" on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Linne Doran in Duvall. Included will be native teachings about community, both wild and human, field ecology, prediction, restoration ecology, native stories, and more.
   Cost for adults is $75 each, children $50 each. Family rates are available. Suggested donation for a 7 p.m. campfire with Jon Young is $15. For information and registration, call 206-788-1301.

'Dept. 56' comes to Molbak's

   Molbak's Christmas Shop will host a Dept. 56 "Homes for the Holidays" event Nov. 7-11, featuring refreshments on Saturday, hourly drawings, and a grand door prize. Raffle tickets will benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The winning ticket, for the Ramsford Palace, will be drawn Saturday at 5 p.m.

Northwest Presbyterian Church's new site

   Northwest Presbyterian Church now meets at Mack Elementary School at the intersection of the Woodinville-Duvall Road and 168th Pl. NE. The public is invited to a special celebration Worship Service Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. Call 881-3689.

Fantasy auction

   The March of Dimes Fantasy Auction will be held Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency. Money raised will help prevent birth defects and infant mortality. Call 1-800-291-DIME.

Equifriends benefit

   "Country Holidays," a benefit dinner and auction for Equifriends, will be held on Nov. 10 from 5-9 p.m. Call 568-4183.

Pet food drive

   A pet food drive will be held at the Reptiles, Exotics & Family Pet Expo Nov. 8-10 at Seattle Trade Center. Bring two cans of pet food and receive $1 off the general admission price.

New zoo program

   The Woodland Park Zoo's new program Overnight Adventure, designed for groups of 18-25 people, allows children and adults to experience the zoo's nightlife. Fee of $35 includes breakfast and snacks. Call 684-4835.
