State Sen. McAuliffe's sons charged in campaign incident

Charges were filed last week in connection with an April incident in which State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe's sons allegedly attacked two people protesting McAuliffe's educational policies.
John McAuliffe, 32, and James McAuliffe, 29, have been charged with third-degree theft for allegedly ripping campaign signs from protesters Dorothy Buehler and Edmonds resident Daniel Munro. The two were charged with fourth-degree assault for allegedly pushing Munro into the street, as well.
McAuliffe was holding a campaign function on April 21 at the Hollywood Schoolhouse, which she owns and manages, when the incident occurred.
