A 17-year-old Woodinville High student is being investigated for second-degree assault after allegedly shocking his 13-year-old sister with an electric dog collar until she would drink rum and beer during the Veteran's Day weekend.
The boy, a Lake Leota area resident, was turned over to authorities by his parents after the sister told them what had transpired.
According to police, the boy was drinking with friends at the family home on Saturday, Nov. 9. He invited his sister to join in, but she refused. He then allegedly shocked her on the neck and arm with an electrified dog collar until she would drink with them.
The boy was booked into the King County Youth Center and the case was referred to major crimes investigators.
