Bothell board has vacancy
Interested citizens are invited to apply to fill an upcoming vacancy on the City of Bothell LEOFF-1 Disability Board, due to the Dec. 31 expiring term of Boardmember Pat Pierce.
The vacancy is for a two year term from Jan. 1, 1997 through Dec. 31, 1998. Applicants must reside within the Bothell City limits.
The LEOFF-1 Disability Board is empowered to administer police and fire disability and retirement benefits for those police officers and firefighters who became members of the Law Enforcement Officers' and Firefighters' retirement system prior to Oct. 1, 1977. Meetings of the board are held once a month (or as required) on the second Thursday at 6:30 pm, at City Hall, 18305 101st Avenue NE, Bothell.
Interested individuals must submit applications to the Customer and Employee Resources Department by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20. Interviews will be held by the other four members of the LEOFF-1 Disability Board at their regular meeting in January. Questions may be directed to the City Clerk at 486-3256.
