Scholarships available

   High school students who are U.S. citizens and have a grade point average of "B" or better are eligible for a $1,000 college scholarship. Request an application by Dec. 15 from: Educational Communications Scholarship Foundation; 721 North McKinley Road; P.O. All requests must include the student's name, permanent home address, name of high school, approximate GPA, and year in school during the 1996-1997 academic year.

School, community officials to meet jointly

   The Northshore School District Board of Directors will host a joint meeting with city officials and representatives from Woodinville, Bothell, and Kenmore on Nov. 25 from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. at the W.A. Anderson Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE in Bothell. The group will explore ways of working together for the benefit of the communities. The meeting is open to the public.
