Falcons beat Oak Harbor

WHS girls soccer The Woodinville Falcons girls soccer team again showed their superiority by easily handling Oak Harbor 5-2 in the State playoffs.
Inside of 10 minutes, Tracy Smith scored two goals, one unassisted, the second from Anna Skogen, followed by another Skogen pass to Sarah Shaw, who pumped one into the Oak Harbor goal. On a pass from Heather Hartstein, Smith scored a hat trick, followed by an unassisted Hartstein goal.
Woodinville's defense kept the second seed from WesCo division from continuing on in the single elimination playoffs by only allowing two goals against.
The Falcon team could be seen last week around town with their corn row braids they adopt every year when they go to the playoffs. This year, "#1" has been added to their cars after the Kingco winning game.
