WHS sports teams made the community proud

WHS sports Woodinville High School's sports teams have again brought the community together, uniting all its residents in excitement, support, and enthusiasm. The end results of the WHS efforts are less important than the common spirit they inspired.
Supporters cheered the girls soccer team in their quest for state achievement, and the football team as they took part in the state tourney. The contests were exciting, nail-biting experiences for both players and spectators.
And they brought all together in a common purpose. Six full buses of supporters travelled to Tacoma last Saturday night, thanks to the quick efforts of the Woodinville Gridiron Committee. A 24-hour hotline with the voice of Bill Hoppe, the cooperation of Louise Miller's office for use of the Park & Ride, and volunteer hours to schedule the buses resulted in an enthusiastic cheer section for the Falcon team.
Woodinville can be very proud of the achievements of their sports teams, as it can be of their high school's accomplishments in academics and community service.
   Well done, Falcons!
