Free class at Redhook
Redhook Ale Brewery is sponsoring a free class on pairing holiday foods and craft brews Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. Participants will sample appetizers and desserts and pair them with Redhook brews, and receive entree ideas for winter parties. A gift for golfers
The American Lung Association is offering a unique holiday gift, the Golf Privilege Club, a membership package that gives the golfer free or reduced greens fees, discounted golf vacation packages, free buckets of balls, and more at over 900 golf courses and driving ranges in the western U.S. and Canada, including 75 in Washington State. Holiday cards benefit homeless
The Homelessness Project has Holiday Cards to benefit their organization, which provides transitional housing to homeless families hoping to find permanent residences. The cards were designed by homeless children in the program, along with Seattle artist Barbara Earl Thomas. Each package contains 10 cards and sells for $10.
