Obituary: Ogal L. Fender
A memorial service for Ogal Fender, 83, was held Nov. 26 at the Bothell United Methodist Church.
Mr. Fender, a resident of Woodinville, died Nov. 19 at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland. He was born Feb. 11, 1913.
He was married to Mary E. Fender in Covington, Kentucky, on Christmas Eve, 1942. In 1948, the family moved to Seattle and has resided here ever since.
Mr. Fender was a veteran of WW II. He was a dedicated supporter of the Special Olympics Organization. His special son, Ralph, works at Albertson's in Woodinville and is well-known in the community.
Mr. Fender was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. His survivors include children, Ralph Fender of Woodinville; Drucilla May Soldano of Redmond; Virginia Nelson of Liverpool, New York; Donald L. Fender of New Richmond, Ohio; and Hazel Adcock of Fort Mill, South Carolina; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
