Bothell High addresses overcrowding
Concerns about the size and the potential for problems at Bothell High, the largest of Northshore's three high schools, are being addressed, said the school district.
Groundbreaking on a new wing of 10 classrooms and the renovation of four adjoining classrooms will begin in February to ease the crowding problem. In addition, a committee has been organized to study the idea of alternative schedules, particularly the pros and cons of implementing staggered starts.
Lastly, as the boundary committee continues its work on boundary recommendations for junior high #6, the number of projected students at each of Northshore's high schools is being taken into consideration, the district said.
