Woodinville Library (788-0733)

   Join the Thistle Theatre for holiday magic with puppets, music, and stories Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. Free.
   Storytimes with songs and crafts for ages 2-3 with adult are set for Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. through Dec. 18.
   A fun-filled half hour of stories, music, and crafts for ages 3 to 8 will be held on Mondays through Dec. 16 and Tuesdays through Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Parents are welcome.

Bothell Library (486-7811)

   Hear The Nutcracker by Virginia Moore, storyteller and musician, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.
   Preschool Storytimes will be held Fridays through Dec. 13. Ages 2 1/2 to 6 (with adult) meet at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Ages 4-6 meet at 1 p.m. Register.

Kenmore Library (286-8747)

   Ages 6+ (younger children with adult) can create a gift, decoration, or gift bag Dec. 9 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
   Use a variety of beads to create original jewelry to give as holiday gifts. Materials provided. Register. For 11+.
   Toddler Storytimes for children 2 & 3 with an adult will be held Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.
   Preschool Storytime for ages 3+ are set for Wed. at 11 a.m. Register.

   Share holiday hobbies at Holiday Lollapalooza, for ages 5-12 and the young at heart, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.

   Fall storytimes, through Dec. 13: ages 3 1/2-6, Tues. at 1 p.m., Wed. and Fri. at 10:30 a.m., and Thurs. at 6:45 p.m; for ages 2-3 1/2 with an adult, Wed. and Fri. at 11:30 a.m.; ages 12-24 months with an adult, third Thurs. at 10:40 a.m.
   Mother Goose on the Loose: storytime for adults and their young children, 12-24 months, third Thursday of month at 11 a.m. No registration required.

   A Holiday Sing-Play-Along is set for Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Cookies and cider will be served.
   A Child's Christmas in Wales will offer music, poetry reading, and holiday crafts Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. for ages 5+ Register.
   Stories, songs, puppets during Toddler Storytime for ages 24-36 months with an adult Tues. through Dec. 10 at 11 a.m.

   From the Streets of Shakespeare to the Court of Elizabeth has been cancelled and rescheduled for Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.
   Learn the basic skills for using the library's computer catalog, magazine indexes, and CD-ROM resources Dec. 7 from 9 to 10 a.m. Bring your library card. Register. More advanced searching skills for experienced library computer users will be offered Dec. 12 from 9 to 10 a.m. Bring your library card. Register.
   Toddler Reading Time, for ages 2 and 3 with an adult, is set for Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and Mondays at 1 p.m.
   Stories for the Afternoon will feature stories, songs, and special activities for ages 4-8, Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.
   Storytime at Sammamish Station Tuesdays at 2 p.m. includes songs, fingerplays, and simple crafts for 3+. Music at the Station features rhythm, singing, and musical games on Wed. from 7-7:30 p.m. Call 836-8793.

   Karen Haas, storyteller and musician, shares tales and songs about giving Dec. 7 at 1:30 p.m. for preschool children+. Under 5 will need adult help.
   Preschool Storytime: Songs, stories, puppets, and games for ages 3+ Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Younger children can attend with adult. Register.

   Toddler storytime for parents and ages 1 1/2 to 3 will be offered Dec. 3 at 11:30 a.m.
   Children ages 3-5 can take a book break with children's librarian Laurie Bates for stories, fingerplays, music, and crafts Tuesdays through Dec. 17. Younger children are welome with adult. Register.
