Timbercrest Junior High newest in Northshore family
The committee charged with redrawing junior high school boundaries for nearly 20,000 students no longer had to refer to the new school as "Junior High #6" after the Northshore School Board adopted the name "Timbercrest Junior High School" for the school.
District wins state grant
The Northshore School District has been awarded a $58,998 competitive grant from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Monies will be dedicated to two separate projects, both focused on the Washington State Essential Learnings.
Olympiad competition begins
Junior high schools from Northshore School District will compete for top honors in individual and team mathematics at Kenmore Junior High Dec. 5.
