Leota JHS and Sunrise Elementary support Multi-Service Center

   Leota Junior High will hold its annual canned food and personal care products drive Dec. 6-16 benefiting the Northshore Multi-Service Center.
   Sunrise Elementary students will hold a Christmas Stocking Stuffing Party Dec. 4 to fill 350 stockings for donation to the Northshore Multi-Service Center to benefit senior citizens this holiday season.

Exchange Program to offer scholarship to Japan

   AYUSA International, a non-profit high school exchange program, has announced a special scholarship opportunity to Japan. The group is offering two scholarships for English tutors at a prestigious Japanese boys' boarding school. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 20, demonstrate maturity and flexibility, and have an interest in Japanese culture. Applications must be received by Dec.15. Call 1-800-7272-4540.
