Computer classes at library
The Woodinville Library will sponsor computer classes throughout the month of December. Each of the classes is individual; participants may choose the most convenient date, but registration is required by calling 788-0733.
Those interested in an Introduction to the World Wide Web, a one-hour class on using Microsoft Internet Explorer, can attend Dec. 16, 23, or 30 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
An Introduction to Word is planned for Dec. 17 and 31 from 3 to 4 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a 3 1/2-inch disk.
Beginning Information Power, an introduction to using the library catalog, will be offered Dec. 11 and 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. and Dec. 12, 19, and 26 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Advanced InfoTrac SearchBank, Dec. 13 and 27 from 4 to 5 p.m., will teach advanced searching techniques in Magazine, Business File, Health Indexes, ProCD Phone, and BIP Plus.
Information Power: Advanced & Beginning SearchBank, Dec. 14, 21, and 28 from 9 to 10 p.m., will address advanced ways of using the library catalog and an introduction to the InfoTrac databases.
