Toys will help hospitalized children
Hospitals are not a fun place for children to be spending the holidays, so the Woodinville area chapter of F.E.M.A.L.E. (Formerly Employed Mothers at the Leading Edge) is hosting its annual Toy Drive for Children's Hospital.
The support network of stay-at-home moms asks community members to drop off clean unwrapped toys, both new and used in good condition, at the Woodinville Library between now and Dec. 15, when members will collect the toys and deliver them to Children's.
Because the hospital will sterilize the toys before wrapping them for Santa to deliver, they ask that stuffed toys not be donated as they are difficult to clean. Suggested toy donations might include: games, arts and crafts items, books, music, videos, electronic items, baby and toddler toys, and toys for preschool and schoolage children.
