Santa Claus is coming to Clearview Dec. 21 from noon to 4 p.m. Receive a free photo with candy canes and refreshments in exchange for a non-perishable food item or tax deductible donation. All donations go directly to the Maltby Food Bank.
WHS holiday concert
The Woodinville High School music department will hold its holiday concert Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium. The public is invited.
Ball to benefit MAVIA
Mothers Against Violence in America (MAVIA) and the Class of '64 will present "The Boomer Ball" Dec. 29. The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Backstage in Ballard. All proceeds from the event will benefit the elementary school curriculum for Students Against Violence Everywhere. Registration for swimming lessons at the Northshore YMCA begins Dec. 14 for facility members, and Dec. 18 for program members. Classes begin Jan. 4. Contact the Northshore YMCA, 485-9797.
Professional photographer Robert Stahl will instruct two evening classes at the Northshore Senior Center in Bothell. Beginning photography will be held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., Jan. 7 through Feb. 11. Landscape Photography will be held on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. through Feb. 6. Fifth Army Reunion
The 5th Army Association, comprised of veterans of the Italian campaign during World War II, will hold its fourth annual reunion next year in historic London. The group will leave New York on March 18, 1997 and return March 25, after visiting memorable landmarks associated with the war.
