Lance Sayre was one of the participants who kicked to help the Redmond Multi-Service Center. Jared Rice (rear, left) and Charlie Ewell watch Sayre perform.
Kick of Life held its 2nd annual Kick-A-Thon Nov. 15 to benefit the homeless shelter in Redmond. Families and friends sponsored the kicks of the 20 students who participated in the event. For every 5 kicks thrown in a 1-minute period, the sponsors donated needed items. A total of 4,500 kicks raised more than 90 bags of food and goods, which were taken to the center for use during the holidays.
