Woodinville runner earns All-American standing

By placing 13th in the 2 mile (3000m.) event, Abby Tybur won a top 25 medal and was named an All-American.

All-American runner Abby Tybur, daughter of Brian and Lindy Tybur of Woodinville, won individual All-American standing at the Junior Olympics Cross Country National Championships Dec. 14 in Lexington, Kentucky.
   The 8-year-old is a student at the Woodinville campus of Bellevue Christian School and is a member of the Eastside Track Club Bantam team for ages 10 and under. The team placed third overall at the championship meet.
   In the 2-mile event, Abby competed against 244 other runners from across the country and placed 13th, with a time of 12:40.90.
