Basic life support class
A four-hour course in Basic Life Support, Level C for Healthcare Providers, is being offered through the Allied Health Department of Everett Community College. The course includes training in emergency life support for both adults and children, including practice of the demonstrated CPR procedures on mannequins. Successful completion of the course leads to an American Heart Association card for Healthcare Providers (HCP).
The cost of the course is $25.00. Course will meet on Sat., Jan. 4, 8-noon and Sat., Jan. 25, 8-noon in Index Hall room 152 on the college's north Everett campus. Pre-registration is required. For additional information, call the Allied Health Department at 388-9461.
Sons of Norway, Bothell Lodge, will offer Norwegian language classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Classes will begin Jan. 6. Call 485-7595.
