Sue Black, Inglemoor High School science teacher, has been selected as one of approximately 100 teachers nationwide as a Master Teacher in the Access Excellence Program.
As part of this program, Black will mentor new teachers online, present information to colleagues on integrating technology into the classroom, and contribute content ideas to overall programs.
Access Excellence is a national science education program that provides high school biology and life science teachers access to their colleagues, scientists, and scientific and educational resources through a specially designed forum on the World Wide Web (http://www.gene.com/ae).
The program is a free resource to the science education community and the public, sponsored by Genetech, Inc., a biotechnology firm headquartered in San Francisco.
