Benefit to rally 'round the Herbfarm
Columbia Winery, 22 top local restaurants from the Pacific Northwest, the Bellevue Club Hotel, Evian, SBC, and Redhook Ale Brewery have all donated their services to benefit The Herbfarm's Fire Fund at a "Rally 'Round The Herbfarm" gala event Jan. 30 at the Bellevue Club Hotel, 11200 SE 6th.
Two stand-up seatings are available at either 5:30 or 8 p.m. One hundred percent of the ticket price will benefit the 4-star restaurant which burned to the ground on January 6.
Organized by Chefs Thierry Rautureau of Rover's and Tom Douglas of the Dahlia Lounge, participating restaurants include: Cafe Lago, Campagne, Canlis, Carter House (Eureka, California), Dahlia Lounge, Flying Fish, Il Terrazzo Carmine, Le Gourmand, Painted Table, Pirosmani, Ponti, Seafood Grill, Rainier Club, Reiner's, The Relais, Rover's, Saleh al Lago, Sooke Harbor House (Sooke, British Columbia), Swingside Cafe, Szmania's, Tulio's, Xinh's Clam & Oyster House, and Jerry Traunfeld of The Herbfarm.
Wine is being donated for the event by Columbia Winery, water by Evian, microbrews by Redhook, and coffee by SBC. The Bellevue Club Hotel has donated the facility, dinnerware, and service assistance.
