The engagement of Kristi Joanne Fox of Winchester, Virginia and Trevor Douglas Dodds of Wood's Hole, Massachusetts, was announced at a surprise party given by the bride-to-be's mother in October in Virginia. Trevor's mother, Carol Fauconnier of Woodinville, and his aunt, Pamela Guy from Colorado Springs, were present for the event. The couple is planning a May 31 wedding in Winchester, the bride's home town.
Kristi Fox is the daughter of the late Allen Wayne Fox and Helen Fox of Winchester. She is a 1996 graduate of the College of William and Mary with a degree in biology. She is a marine biologist and educator on board the research vessel Tiger Shark in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
Trevor is the son of Carolyn Jean Fauconnier and husband Arthur of Woodinville and Douglas John Dodds of Redmond. He is a graduate of Eastside Catholic High School in Bellevue and is soon to be discharged from the U.S. Coast Guard.
The couple plans to continue their education in Virginia, pursuing teaching credentials.
