Mardi Gras benefit
Can't make it to New Orleans this year for Mardi Gras? Enjoy the fun of Mardi Gras Feb. 8 at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue.
Hosted by the Evergreen Hospice, the evening kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction and reception, followed by a New Orleans-style gourmet dinner beginning at 7 p.m. The entertainment features a little something for everybody, starting at 8 p.m. with a comedy show featuring comedienne Peggy Platt. At 9 p.m., it's time to hit the dance floor to the music of local favorite Junior Cadillac.
You don't need to wear a fancy costume or a tuxedo, but masks are required. A $100 ticket covers open seating at all the festivities; $25 tickets will be sold for the dance only. Sponsorship packages, including reserved seating, are also available.
All proceeds benefit Evergreen Community Hospice, which provides compassionate care for the terminally ill and their families throughout King and Snohomish counties. For tickets or information, call 899-1900.
