Fun for kids

   During February, celebrate African-American history month at The Children's Museum, open Mon.-Fri. from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Sat. from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and Sun. from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Activities are included with the price of admission. Call 441-1768.
   The Northwest Puppet Center presents Monkey Goes Fishing & Other Tales through Feb. 9 at the Northwest Puppet Center. Call 523-2579.

Family dance

   The family dance returns to Snohomish Feb. 9 from 5-7:30 p.m. with Bill Boyd and Friends providing lively toe-tapping Scandinavian music. Dance expert Art Hare will provide enough instruction for youngsters and beginners to join the dancing. A children's craft table will be provided. Dancers bring snacks to share. Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for seniors and kids under 18. Children under 6 are free with a $10 maximum for families. Call 486-7712.
