Computer police not a good idea
Regarding the recent letter from Raymond Rhodes about censoring the Internet: Hey Ray, can I have the job? It will take a lot of effort, but I think we can control the flow of dangerous and nasty information that sneaks into the computer.
No right to determine what locates in neighborhood
As a neighbor of the future "Children's Country House," a medical facility attempting to locate in a Hollywood Hill neighborhood zoned for rural use, I have a few questions for Mary Shemesh and her management team.
Grown-ups: Think back on your own teen years
I don't see what all the schools and parents are complaining about when kids sag their pants. The grown-ups say they look like bell bottoms, so I'll bet you wore bell bottoms, also. They say it looks stupid. To the people who sag, it looks just fine.
Wishes for the Valley
After 81 years, it amazes me each January that I am still around and capable of writing a letter to the editor. Now, I have some wishes for Carnation, my home for 39 years, and this beautiful valley.
