Troop 909 'threepeats' at Derby

Klondike Derby For the third year in a row, Boy Scout Troop 909's Raccoon Patrol took top honors at the Northlakes District Klondike Derby at the Ensign Ranch in eastern Washington.

Scouts head for snow

snow outing The first snow outing of the new year for Boy Scout Troop 420 was a trip to Paradise on Mt. Rainier. Because igloos are warmer than tents when the temperature falls to zero, the boys built one igloo for every four boys on the trip.

Wedding: Mandel - Northcutt

Mandel-Northcutt Marla Andrea Mandel and Todd Oliver Northcutt were married Dec. 29, 1996 at the Hollywood Schoolhouse. Their wedding took place at the height of last year's post-Christmas snowstorm.

Group adopts street
