Music scholarship and concert drive

   The WHS Music Boosters' annual drive provides scholarships and helps with concert tours. This year, the school's symphonic and concert bands have been invited to the prestigious Heritage Festival. Contributors may have their name or company listed in the concert program. Suggested amounts include: $250, $100, $50, or $20. Those who wish to help may send checks to WHS Music Boosters; 19819 136th Ave. NE; Woodinville, WA 98072.

Key Club carnival

   Bothell High Key Club's carnival for children, kindergarten through fourth grade, will be held March 7 in the Bothell High School cafeteria. Students and their parents are welcome to attend and participate in this fun, youth-oriented event and help support Bothell's Key Club. Doors open at 5 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for games and raffles will be sold at the door.

Master class by pianist

   The music department of Shoreline Community College will host a master class with world-renowned pianist Ivan Davis, Tuesday, March 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Room 2518 of the Music Building. This event is open to the public and free of charge. For more information, call 546-4687.

Spring adult classes

   Forest Park Community School registration is Feb. 27, 2:30-4:30 p.m., and Mar. 1, 1-2:30 p.m. Classes will start Mar. 3. Brochures are available at area libraries and businesses. Call 363-9235.

Study abroad scholarships

   AYUSA International is offering scholarships to Italy or Brazil for the 1997-98 academic year or semester. Applications must be postmarked by Mar. 15. Call 1-800-727-4503.
