Chamber needs local charity
The 1997 auction committee of the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce is taking applications from local charitable organizations to be this year's donation recipient. The annual auction, held in October, is the major fund raising event of the year for the chamber. A portion of the proceeds are traditionally donated to a charity performing work within the Woodinville community.
Previous recipients include the Wilmot Park, the Forgotten Children's Fund, and Northshore Multi-Service Center. For applications or information, call Jeffrey Shaw at the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, 481-8300.
The Northshore Chamber of Commerce will meet for luncheon March 5, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the Mill Creek Country Club. Cost is $15/$18. Breakfast for Success is Mar. 13, 7-8:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Garden Hotel;$12/ $15. Networking will be featured at both events. Make reservations by calling 486-1245.
